Karen tagged me to do this meme - I didn't want to do it last week because her answers were so good. I was hoping that you have all forgotten her answers now and then my answers don't seem so lame!
5 things I want my kids to know:
1. How much I love them and how proud I am of them.
2. Be strong when it comes to what you believe and what it right.
3. Be a good friend.
4. It is okay to be smarter then others - just don't make others feel stupid.
5. You can ALWAYS come home.
5 things you want to tell your children when they are grown up:
1. Make choices carefully because your children are the payback for what you have done.
2. Live each day like someone is watching~ someone is always watching.
3. Be the best wife/mommy or husband/daddy you can~ the rest is just details.
4. Friends are still important. You will always need someone you can call who will be there for you no matter what.
5. Always be yourself ~ you don't have to change for others.
5 things you want to tell your child before you die:
1. I love you and I am so proud of you.
2. There is value in hard work~ don't take shortcuts.
3. I love you with all my heart and I did the best I could at being your mommy.
4. You are amazing and wonderful ~ you have made my life better and you have made me a better person because I was your mommy.
5. Don't settle for anyone ~ wait for the right person who makes you feel loved beyond imagination and who values you for you.
5 things you want your child to know before she dies:
1. Love~ from the right man/woman. An amazing marriage that lifts her/him up everyday.
2. Being a mom/dad. As difficult and demanding as it is, there is NO better job.
3. Inner peace.
4. Your gift in life.
5. Happiness.

I was also tagged for the 7 Random Things About Me meme- I was tagged by 30 Minute Mommy. I am new to her blog, but I am really enjoying getting to know her. I gotta love those teacher moms!
Here are my Random Things -random is so easy for me ;):
1. I'm random. My mind goes in a million directions and I have a hard time wrangling all those thoughts into order.
2. Diet soda is my coffee.
3. I wear my pj's far too long in the morning and put them back on far to early in the evening. I shouldn't even bother putting other clothes on.
4. I have lived in two states (MD and PA). I moved 3 different times when I lived in MD.
5. I love eating out.
6. I am addicted to flip flops. I love flip flops! All colors.
7. My happy place is a nice, warm, sandy beach with lots of sunshine and waves.

H- hair- I'm always looking for that one great hairstyle.
E - eat - I love to do it

I always have trouble thinking of all the things I want to teach my children before they die (or leave home or whatever)...there's so much!!

And your random stuff is always interesting. We're supposed to get dressed during the day? I thought we could just put our pj's back on after taking a shower. Oh well.

Great job on all these meme's! And it is ok to wear those pj's. If I am going to be home all day, I rarely get dressed. So much more comfortable in my pj's. This is my first time participating in Meme Monday. I like visiting new blogs.
