This is my smorgasbord post. A little of this and a little of that.
Thanks to Melanie who noticed my post was messed up yesterday. Somehow after I typed it, part of it got cut and pasted into the middle of another section. Anyway....my response was that one of my saggy boobs must have fallen on the keyboard and I didn't notice! hee hee hee! I am so glad that you all have been commenting about boob jobs......that thought has crossed my mind but I just wasn't sure how people would respond to it. Of course, that isn't an option until I actually have money in my savings account. (Money is a stress right now....probably why I have so many canker sores in my mouth- of course, I'm sure we all stress over it)
Tonight I vacuumed and pushed all the toys in a corner straightened up the toys. I did laundry and washed the table cloth. I made jello jigglers for Riley to have at day care to celebrate his birthday. Heart shaped goodness for his friends. We even managed to play outside a good bit since it is so nice out lately. Ashlyn loves playing outside and Riley seems to be following in her foot steps. He likes to swing and slide (of course I hold onto him). I even tricked convinced Ashlyn to practice writing her name while we played chalk. Riley only ate one stone and half a piece of chalk while we were outside---not too bad! If he were walking it would be easier for him outside. I guess I can just let him crawl in the grass, but I worry about that. I do let him down to sit or crawl a bit, but not too much. So then I end up holding him. Of course when he is walking and running away from me I will be wishing he hadn't figured out walking yet! ;)
My knee has been bothering me a bit lately. I asked Gary what I might have done to it to make it hurt. He says 'nothing....it could just be because you are 30'. OUCH!
My mouth is still hurting. It actually hurts to eat due to the canker sores. You would think that would deter me and help me cut back on eating....maybe lose a few pounds. But, nope, I push through the pain and eat away! I'm good like that.
Tomorrow is Riley's party and Saturday is his actual birthday.....Monday both kids have their 'year' well child visits. You can expect a lot of update posts and pictures. You don't have to thank me....I know you love it.

i hope you enjoy your little man's birthday tomorrow!!
Wow- you got a lot accomplished. I'd be tired if I had my entire day to get all of that stuff done.
Canker sores really suck! I have them from time to time...and no, it doesn't stop me from eating either - maybe slows me down a bit, but that's it! Good luck with the b-day party tomorrow! :) I can't wait to see the pictures!
you are so fun! I love reading your posts :)
I had to laugh at what Gary said. Maybe he's true because I'm 30 and my knees would hurt at times. Or waist. Heheh. But seriously, I hope everyone enjoys Riley's day. Especially Riley because it's his big day.
And the boob thing, yes I miss the time when i was still nursing time becasue I had fuller boobs then...now it's like eeew. Heheh. Oh motherhood!
Pam, you totally crack me up!! Good luck with Riley's birthday and parties!! Oh and you hardly need to be worrying about losing weight! You look fantastic!!
have a great weekend... enjoy your parties!
We have the same cleaning style, Pam!
I hope you have a great time on Riley's Bday!!
Enjoy your weekend!!
Happy Friday - YAY!!!
I love the smorgasbord posts! You fit so much in!
I don't let Ladybug crawl outside too much either - I'm afraid she'll eat a bug! So right now when we go outside, I keep her in the stroller or take the exersaucer out.
Hope Riley birthday is a hit, for all of you!
hey chickie. sorry i haven't been a better bloggy friend. life has been tooooo busy for blog hopping. but i am here to soak up your bloggy goodness at long last!
Jordan gets canker sores too...all the time. we were told by her doctor a really good comfort and cure. take liquid maalox and liquid benedryl and mix equal parts of each (we usually do a teaspoon of each) then slosh it around in your mouth over the sores and spit. repeat till your little mixture is gone. i am not all together sure why it works but it totally does. if she gets them we have her do this a few times during the day and then right before bed and usually they are gone the next morning...
i hope this helps.
i know financial stresses too...all too well. we will keep your family in our prayers.
Happy 1st Birthday Riley! Pam, I hope you survive the in laws and you have some relaxation this weekend.
